Arian became a lawyer to answer the call of his warrior spirit—lawyers should be gladiators for their clients. The product of the American melting pot, Arian’s heritage is rooted in the Native American, slave, and immigrant traditions.  Arian is a litigator who represents his clients in immigration, criminal, family law, and business disputes. Arian is passionate about winning—as of May of 2017, Arian has never lost a jury trial.  

A graduate from the University of Washington, Arian began his career as a school teacher in Southeast, Washington D.C. There he taught all subject matters, for both general and special education. After three years of teaching at Malcom X Elementary School, Arian obtained his Juris Doctor from The University of the District Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. By his second year of law school, Arian worked as a Rule 9 attorney in the D.C. Superior Court in areas of child custody, guardianship, and social security. Upon graduation, Arian clerked for the Honorable Judge Sheryl M. Long, and then practiced family law for a year prior to joining the Baltimore City States Attorney’s Office. In 2007, Arian joined the Carroll County State’s Attorney’s Office to continue to serve the citizens of Maryland. During his four years as an Assistant State’s Attorney, Arian prosecuted a wide variety of felonies and misdemeanors by way of bench and jury trial ranging from trespass to armed robbery.  

Arian left public service and created The NOMA Firm so he could focus on immigration, criminal, and litigation matters. Arian is a firm believer that immigrants are an invaluable part of the United States’ accomplishments. In private practice, Arian assisted small businesses in contract disputes, real estate transactions, premises liability, and personal injury matters. Arian employed his trial skills to aggressively and ethically represent his clients before a variety of courts.  

Dedicated to competent and passionate representation, Arian is a firm believer that a well-prepared lawyer can accomplish any goal for his clients. With roots in rural Mississippi, Arian believes that rural America is vital to the health and welfare of the whole nation. Arian settled in the Okanogan Valley out of his love for this small community and its diverse citizenry. He met the love of his life, Kenita, while she was a criminal investigator for the Criminal Justice Act Panel, and he convinced her to move from Maryland to Pateros, where they now raise their family.
